U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Selects Michael Baker International to Build, Design Secure Spaces for U.S. Governmental Agencies Around the World

Three-Year Contract to Demonstrate Company's Full Continuum of Services

Pittsburgh (August 17, 2015) - Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting, planning, secure construction, technical and professional services, announced that the  U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District selected the company to serve as one of the prime contractors providing secure construction services for U.S. governmental agencies worldwide. The Tenant Renovation in Secure Spaces (TRSS) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) is a three-year contract with two options years and a not-to-exceed value of $95 million.

As a prime contractor for USACE, Michael Baker will be responsible for providing all manpower, equipment and resources required to renovate or construct secure spaces in embassies and consulates around the world.  A robust global logistics capability differentiates the firm in supporting the highly complex requirements of secured-space projects.

The TRSS MATOC became effective on July 28, 2015.
