Minnesota, Minn. (October 9, 2015) - Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting, planning, technical and professional services, has established the groundwork for the company’s continued growth in Minneapolis at a time when the city and the region are experiencing a construction boom.
On Thursday, October 8, Michael Baker relocated from its previous downtown offices to its new, larger Minneapolis headquarters in the business district (120 South 6th Street) with an open house attended by both employees and clients. The centrally located office is more than double the size of the company’s previous location.
“You only have to look at the development springing up near the U.S. Bank Stadium in Downtown East to know that this city is on the move,” said Kenton Zinn, vice president and office executive for Michael Baker’s Minneapolis office. “At the same time, the region’s infrastructure requires attention and ongoing maintenance so that it can support the development we’re witnessing. With our full continuum of innovative solutions and our local focus, Michael Baker International is primed to partner with stakeholders in the region who are fueling its growth.”
The expansion in Minneapolis comes just over a year after Michael Baker first established an office in the city in 2014.
