San Diego (May 26, 2015) - The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) San Diego Section recently honored the San Marcos Vent Desalination Modfifications-P3/P4, the Coastal Rail Trail (CRT) Reach I, the Fire Science & EMT Training Facility at Miramar College, and the Southwestern College Field House and Football Fields projects with Outstanding Awards. Projects were awarded in the Construction Project, Bikeways & Trails Project, Architectural Engineering Project, and Sustainable Engineering Project categories, respectively.
Project team members along with clients City of Carlsbad, San Diego Community College District, San Diego County Water Authority, and Southwestern College, attended the award ceremony to accept the honors. In its 26th year running, the ASCE Awards Luncheon recognizes outstanding engineering projects which demonstrate the greatest engineering skills, and represent the greatest contribution to civil engineering progress and mankind.
